Repel Cavalry

The Repel Cavalry formation was used to defend against enemy  ‘Horse Men’. The 1^st rank would form a firm wall of shields with their spears sticking out the gaps. The horse’s, on their own will, would stop before they hit the spear heads, that’s when the second rank, which is standing right behind the ‘wall’, would stab the riders and possibly their horse
